Treatments or products to get rid of blemishes/scarring

I've got quite a lot of scars and blemishes on my face from old spot breakouts. As I'm getting older (41) I'm finding they don't just fade like they used to.

Are there any products I could be using? Or would something like microdermabrasion be the way to go?

I'm sick of having to use loads of concealer to cover up where spots used to be, as well as any new ones I get!

Depending on how bad the discolouration is, you might need to get the big guns out later but this stuff treats spots and fades the red marks they leave. Give it a whole month to work:

It's on offer at Boots just now.

I haven't tried this but have seen it talked about a lot, derma rolling I think it's called. Someone might come along and explain it.

I had IPL on my face. It got rid of the blemishes and broken blood vessels. Not cheap though but very effective.

It's not an external product, but I take a supplement called serrapeptase for internal scarring caused by endometriosis. It's an enzyme extracted from silkworms. An unexpected side effect has been the healing in old acne scars I had on my face - massive difference.

I take this one, 3 tablets a day.
