If you don't wear jeans, what trousers do you wear?

I can't wear jeans due to complications and pain with c-section scar and separation of abdominal muscles. I am bored with leggings and skirts/tights and dresses and would love to be able to chuck on jeans and a jumper!

I was wearing harem pants in the summer, but they look ridiculous with anything other than flip flops!

I need to find a pair of trousers without a front zip/anything that sits on scar at the front as I can't bear any pressure there. Maternity jeans don't fit right.

I am a size 14, 5"3 and nearly 40....stay at home mum/carer but have lots of hospital appointments where I like to look smart.

Any ideas please? I've got the Ugg Wilcox boots so something to go with those would be great :)

COS slim trousers with side zip are your friend. They had them in the sale, which I hope is still on. Yesterday they had quite a few in khaki and red in their Bristol shop.
