The before would do me.

Not so keen on the paint and wig.

PickAChew · 04/02/2017 22:44

And she's not that pale - her skin tone is very yellow and would probably bronze in the sun. The key there is probably that she's kept the sun off her skin.

Oh do you not think she's pale ?

She seems pale to me, that why I wondered if the grey hair looks so fab on her? Or is it the blue eyes

OP posts:
LardLizard · 04/02/2017 22:53

OR basically to ask it another way, why does she look so fab grey

burnishedsilver · 05/02/2017 02:31

Does she say what age she is? She doesn't look particularly old to me.

Plunkette · 05/02/2017 03:08

It says she's 50yo.

She looks to have lovely skin and has kept out of the sun.

Her natural hair is a wonderful colour though.

Bloodybridget · 05/02/2017 03:42

50 isn't old. So do you mean you want to look like her when you're in your 70s and 80s?

blue2014 · 05/02/2017 03:57

Agree - 50 isn't old at all Shock

JemimaMuddledUp · 05/02/2017 04:15

I think she looks better in the before picture - she has good bone structure and decent skin. The after is a bit too full on for my taste.

50 isn't old either.

Plunkette · 05/02/2017 05:47

It all depends on perspective Lard could be 22 for all we know!

Bluntness100 · 05/02/2017 06:15

She'd look good with any hair color, is not the grey that is making her look good, she's simply got an well structured face that's been expertly made up. She would suit any hait color in those images..

I'm not sure how you can aim to look like her when you're fifty though. Do you look like a younger version of her now? If yes, then it's about maintaining your skin, if not then you'd need surgery.🙄

Motherfuckers · 05/02/2017 06:19

How old are you OP?

echt · 05/02/2017 06:25

She is lovely, fab bones and all, though I'd have put her at 60+, and it's not the grey hair that does it. I'd guess most 50 year-old women look younger than her, if not so glam, IYSWIM. I certainly did back in the day.

I'm 62 and wouldn't mind looking like her now, but have the arse v. face dilemma. If I was that thin, I'd look like a bloodhound who's swallowed a coat hanger.

echt · 05/02/2017 06:28

Oh, and 50 isn't old.

Neither is 60, now I think of it.

Bluntness100 · 05/02/2017 06:31

Without make up I'd have said late forties, with make up I guessed forty before I knew her age.

She doesn't look like a woman in her sixties to me.🙄

Floisme · 05/02/2017 11:00

She looks fab because of her bone structure. You're always going to age well if you have cheekbones and your jawline doesn't collapse. But I prefer her without the make up or maybe just with lipstick. She looks like a Thunderbirds puppet in the other picture.

PlugUgly · 05/02/2017 11:03

If you look at the height of her brows I would bet a brow lift, so possibly a little help.....

Floisme · 05/02/2017 11:11

Maybe - and with that jawline too, although to be fair, I think mine was still going strong at 50.

dudsville · 05/02/2017 11:34

I really enjoyed seeing someone more mature showing how she covers hormonal breakouts and redness. I'll never spend 40 min doing my makeup but I found it interesting to watch!

CountFosco · 05/02/2017 12:01

I don't think this woman is 50, her neck looks much older. I'm 46 and mine looks much younger. Or for a better comparison if you compare to celebrities like Jamie Lee Curtis (who is older at 58) or Julia Roberts (49) or Pamela Anderson (also 49). I suspect she's had at least a brow lift (because of those ridiculously high eyebrows) and probably a facelift. She is a beautiful woman though, and probably would be even if she hadn't had any work done and had a few more wrinkles.

Personally I don't like that overdone makeup, I think it makes her look like a drag queen at whatever age.

ZaZathecat · 05/02/2017 12:07

I know plenty of 50+s that look younger than that and much more natural. Still, op was really interested in the grey hair rather than her age.
