  1. I had a pair of orange "ski pants" which I wore with an orange sweatshirt. I was about 8 so will forgive myself that one.
  1. I went through a phase aged 17-20 of wearing those floaty cotton skirts with fringes and bits of mirror sewn onto them the shame the shame - oh, wore them with DMs

I went throuhg a turquoise and what I called Zingy pink stage and yes I wore them together. I had a pair of turquiose ski pants and a baggy 'zingy' pink jumper. I was only 9 though. Oh yeah i wore them with black socks with zingy pink spots on too! That was the same time I lived in my 3/4 herring bone coat and my turquoise Snood.

IntergalacticWalrus · 26/02/2007 14:59

I had a luminous ski jacket that made me look like Harry Enfield when he does Loadsamoney

I succumbed to the shell suit too

And I had a mullet

I used to theme myself - eg blue boiler suit, blue shoes, blue sobranie cocktail cigarette and blue curacao and lemonade.... never smoked the cigarettes just thought they looked cool (cringe)

Once bought the same shoes in magenta and bright green so I could wear one of each (only did it once though) and wore them with bright pink and green outfit.

Actually just off to change - scoop neck top and jeans far too boring for school run. There must be a dodgy taffeta frock knocking about in the back of the wardrobe.

detoxdiva · 26/02/2007 15:07

I had a perm...went lovely with my dungarees

swedishmum · 26/02/2007 15:07

Then there was the Andy Pandy suit from Laura Ashley I was very attached to

ScottishThistle · 26/02/2007 15:07

Well spotted MamaG...I'm sure I also had a lime sweatshirt!

None of which are good colours on someone with extra pale skin!

Gingerbear · 26/02/2007 17:32

Are all these 80's disasters BTW?

AnAngelWithin · 26/02/2007 17:37

i went to my primary school disco in a 2 pice black skirt and top with fluorescent pink and green spots on. The skirt had loads of those net layers in it that made it stick out miles!! And the top had MASSIVE shoulder pads in!!
