Ok so I'm not asking for miracles....but can anybody recommended a good moisturiser for smoothing out lines...sadly noticing them more and more.

A face one and an eye cream please.

Thanks in advance

I use Laluset cream, available online. Definitely the best one I've ever used. Works as a primer and isn't greasy. A bit pricey but lasts.

I swear even my lizard neck looks better!

I don't think any cream makes a significant amount of difference. I have been using moisturiser since I was 15, and at 58 still look younger than my years. I would just find one that suits your skin and your pocket. Also, get one that has a high SPF.

Most beauty counters will put a sample in a small pot for you to try. I am currently using Boots no 7 Protect and Perfect, but have tried loads of different ones over the years without any detriment to my skin.

Vichy aqualia serum followed by The Ordinary Buffet and then a slap of Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. Really plumps up my skin so that the fine lines around my eyes aren't so visible. Nice matte finish for make up as well.

Thanks all for your replies.

Absolutely - is that a medicated cream? I googled it and found this:

Atonished - Thanks. My problem is never sticking to one, have tried tons of samples over the years!

Lady - Thanks for the tips, will look at those too.

I've tried expensive and I've tried cheap. My current regime is both my cheapest and most successful. People think I'm about ten years younger than I am (56).
Evening, massage in aqueous cream, brisk rubbing it off with clean, warm wet flannel
Moisturise with a little almond oil which sinks in overnight and really plumps my skin.
Morning, wash with plain water.
Moisturise with Lidl Anti wrinkle cream £1.99 !

Been doing this for three years. I've stopped wearing foundation.

Put on a thin layer of Vaseline over any facial moisturiser - I do this around my eyes too and it plumps my skin right up as Vaseline is an occlusive and will help keep moisture in overnight

By thin layer I mean super thin, I usually use a tiny tiny blob massaged together with damp hands then pressed over face. I used to be quite spot prone but this never made me spottier.
