Choice is between these and these

Vote now for a stylish summer Badger!

(Explanation: Generous but mildly eccentric MIL has offered to buy me a pair of mat trousers as an Easter present, but I'm not due till Aug so am wanting something summery that'll see me right through.)

First option gets my vote!

hatwoman · 25/02/2007 19:42

definitely the first. dark colour more flattering, more useful, flexible, less likely to look grotty. can be worn on less summery days (I know there's no logic to that, it should be the weight of the fabric that counts, but light colours in rainy weather don;t look great. whereas same fabric, darker colour looks fine)

hatwoman · 25/02/2007 19:43

btw - not sure I knoew you were pg (find it hard to keep track though) congratulations.

KristinaM · 25/02/2007 19:48

i agree, get the first ones in the chocolate brown

please note they have different tops - which do you find more comfortable??? You won't wear them if they are not comfortable, regardless of how stylish they are .....not when you are the size of a whale in july [evil grin emoticon]

KristinaM · 25/02/2007 19:51

for the avoidance of doubt - i mean the top of the trousers, what would be a waistband if you had a waist ie one is a foldover panel, one is ribbed

MrsBadger · 25/02/2007 19:59

the first (chocolate) ones are winning so far, keep 'em coming!

(nothing to choose between waistbands IMO, it's the 'stretchy pockets only' type that I don't get on with)

brown ones (i got some fab 100% linen trousers in primark today for £8. you could buy some for after the cub's appearance mrsb ).

MrsBadger · 25/02/2007 21:09

I have two very nice pairs of non-mat Gap linen trousers (tan and khaki) from previous summers which I wear a lot, hence my desire to get some mat ones!

first ones most utterly and with panache.

They are both nice but the first ones would be so versatile and are more funky looking.

simplycontrolfreaky · 25/02/2007 21:12

first ones. definitely.

Gobbledigook · 25/02/2007 22:02

First ones

fishie · 25/02/2007 22:07

the first are nice trousers for someone who happens to be enceinte. the second ones are a bowl of porridge embodied in a garment.

DimpledThighs · 26/02/2007 09:34

and the second ones mnage to make even the model look a bit hippy (in the big bum way not the far out way).
