Vests as underwear, but that can be worn on their own

Just that really, I am always warm, so am paranoid about wearing jumpers and then being too warm if that makes any sense. What I would like is some camisoles or Vests that I can layer up, but don't look like underwear, then if we are out and go to pub or cafe I can strip off. I usually wear microfiber ones, but they are a bit dressed down, as are cotton ones. Does anyone have any alternatives.

I have got a couple of good ones from M&S. A black spaghetti strap one and a plum scoop neck one. I think they were £7 each. Have worn both as tops.

Maybe not that dressy though.

Yes I have a couple of nice vests/Camis from M & S which can double up as tops that can be worn alone. Think they were about £12 each.

Thanks I'll have a look at my & s. The ones I usually wear have a bit of hold to them, but obviously they must have some lucra in them which makes them look more like underwear iyswim
