Maybe I want a wig ...

I am having sudden urges to dress up in drag, of late. I think I maybe want a wig? Either auburn, or some goofy colour.

Do I go to a good wig store to see what works? Do I just go to the (Afri-Caribbean) wig store around the corner? Do I just order something over the net? Or do I hide under my bed until the urge passes?

PS One of my friends got one of the wigs off Ebay from China and it was great for going out.

Hmm, that first one looks kinda tempting. But I like this one. Unfortunately, the only ones I've been tempted by so far have been HK ones. I guess it's a low-cost item, so if it sucks it doesn't really matter ...

I went to my local one when I needed a 3ft plait to wear with a Princess Jasmine costume and they were brilliant and thought I was the funniest thing ever - think it's the novelty value

I'm sure I'd get good treatment there, I more meant they were unlikely to have the sort of wig I'd be looking for (short, red, maybe curlyish).

I had spirals shaved into the back of my head, a few years back, at a local Black barber, and they were very nice.

Now I'm admiring this one. I guess I'll think about it a bit and then order something from ebay, maybe trying on stuff in the local shop first.

There's another local wig shop, too, I think. I mean, it has stuff about hair regrowth, but I assume it does wigs too?
