Shoes to wear with trousers in the winter

Can anyone find me some shoes to wear with trousers so my feet don't get frozen?
Ankle boots never sit right with the bottom of my trousers as they are skinny but a little baggy round the ankles due to me having twigs for ankles.
Help!
Prefer black and a size 4
