....but ds gave me a pendant and ear rings for Christmas. I put the ear rings in straight away- and the box with the pendant went missing. I was sure it would show up in the post Christmas tidy but it hasn't. And now I have lost one of the ear rings. Sad I loved them and he was so pleased about Christmas shopping with money he had earned, so I would really like to replace them without telling him. But I don't know where he bought them. Has anyone seen them anywhere? I know he did his shopping in a town with all the usual shops, and I think they probably cost about £25ish. The 5p is for scale.

He has a good eye for a bargain then as well as a design!

Bertrand, I am just going to second the advice to secrete the 'spare' earring carefully.

I lost a star shaped earring a number of years ago, bought a single replacement (the jeweller let me do that as they were previous season stock and expensive) - and lost another one HmmSad
I clearly was not meant to have those earrings. They were lovely too.

Oh, and well done for finding the pendant!

Could one of you now find the crucial bit of K*nex for DS4's rollercoaster that has disappeared from the face of the earth?
Sigh.

Off topic but I am surprised people try and sell empty boxes on ebay.
