Fed up of panda eyes - what is a properly waterproof mascara?!

And while you're at it, can anyone recommend an eyeliner that doesn't need sharpening (crayon style) but stays put? I use avon but find it ends up half way down my cheeks.

Chanel Le Volume waterproof is brill! Stays put!

Is it to do with what is on your skin first? Are you using creams that are too oily?

Lancome hypnose waterproof is excellent and I use a Rimmer waterproof non sharpening crayon. Both stay put and don't smudge, even when cycling to work.

I can second the blinc tubing mascara. I have ridiculously watery eyes and because of how it works, this is completely smudgeproof.

Thanks ladies! I don't use oily creams but I think my eyes water a lot esp in winter.

I also say tubing mascara.

For eyeliner, I didn't quite understand. Do you want a liquid liner or a pencil? Benefit bad gal is a pencil eyeliner that is waterproof so doesn't disappear. Not sure if that is what you meant.

For eyeliner - not liquid. More of a soft pencil.

No 7 intense volume water proof.

Try the bad gal then. I tried it after a recommendation here and it works for me. Also has a smudging tool to get a soft look. But do it quickly before it sets.

I use coconut oil to get both the mascara and eyeliner off.

I'd also really like to know what is a good waterproof mascara. I have a Mabelline waterproof one which is horrible, when a tiny bit gets into my eyes they burn and water like crazy.

L'oreal beauty tubes I find (even) more smudge-free than blinc.

No 7 mascara in the gold tube. It stays put until you put a warm damp cloth over your eyes to remove it. I find it's the only one I've ever tried which doesn't smudge.

I bought Blinc mascara a couple of years back - about £20 but best I've ever had. Couldn't remember the name until I read this thread - so thanks Applemagic !

No7 Stay Perfect in the gold tube. Also a tubing mascara. It's bullet proof.

Estée Lauder double wear infinite waterproof eyeliner is good, it is a slim crayon/ pencil in a plastic stick, no sharpening needed. I use it in graphite which is a lovely dark grey shade.

I've use Maybelline waterproof mascara for years. A bit of powder on eyelids and under lower lashes stops any panda eyes.

I've just discovered Kevin Aucoin Curling mascara. I have no smudges at all.
