I got a 100% cashmere sweater from H&M. I handwashed it for the first time carefully in Woolite, and when it had dried noticed it had two massive holes in the front. So annoyed - I know it wasn't expensive, but I did expect it to last a bit longer than this, may as well call it a disposable one-wear jumper! I am going to try and return it for a refund, but want a replacement. I've had similar happen to Uniqlo too.
