Cord trousers... Yes or a big fat NO?

I bought 2 pairs today (out of desperation) - 1 chocolatey brown and a silvery-grey pair but am now having second thoughts.

Opinions please.

(And, if they're acceptable, what on earth do I wear with them? All help greatly appreciated!)

I love cords but am hardly a fashionista I think they go with most things as long as you don't wear anything too bulky on top.

I think cords are ok. Great weekend wear.

i am wearing a pair! beware the rustling of your thighs as you walk around. i am not even that big anymore and i still sound like an american retirement village when i walk around.

I wear them all the time - they are low slung and I wear them tucked into boots with long sleeved 'fitted' tops or jumpers. V comfy and pretty flattering.

Agree with nailpolish. And don't wear them once the arse has fallen out of them.

where did you get them littlemiss? i'd love a silvery grey pair.

i probably wouldn't wear a patterened top half with them but otherwise anything you like.

oh yes, I love cords. Have some grey ones that I wear all the time, but I am quite a jeans kind of person. Where did you get them? Could do with some more

They are from H&M, fishie. I only have 3 pairs of jeans that fit and absolutley no other bottoms, so cords seemed like a non-jeany addition!
