Advice about ponce skincare: Eve Lom or Spiezia?

Yes, I realise they are both unspeakably expensive, but I am 43, ffs. And the Neal's Yard stuff I've been using (which is in fact equally expensive) appears to be clogging my skin up. I've used EL in the past, and my only slight reservation is that it does seem to be, er, highly priced paraffin wax. Being a hippy type have also tried a sample tin of Spiezia, and it seemed pretty good. Can't decide. Have tried cheaper alternatives (including Liz Earle) and was not hog-whimpering wild. Please make my mind up for me and thus free it up (Homer Simpson style) to worry about other things!

Have never used Eve Lom but the Speizia range is gorgeous, smells fab and is organic which must be a plus in is favour.

I was going to try Liz Earle next time!
I think everyone's skin goes horrible this time of year. The change of season always upsets my skin for some reason. I've started using a vitamin C organic type cream (Jasons) which I like. Spezia is nice and available in SE London (Healthmatters on Lordship Lane) which is abig point in its favour.

MI 43! I've seen the pics...I'm off to slit my wrists....(sorry no help on the skin care front...)

sorry to be a bore, but i think quality of skin is all about sleep, water and lack of stress. i had fab skin in pregancy and that was just the hormones. don't waste yr cash. they are flogging an illusion.

I need the illusion! I drink masses of water, and I get a fair bit of sleep, and I even get exercise and eat loads of fruit and veg...dammit, I'm going to go down the Spiezia route, with one click of the mouse.

Well I swear by Cetaphil cleanser, which is cheap as chips, and which you can either wipe off or rinse off as the mood takes you. Also have their moisturiser, which is not bad, but takes a while to sink in sometimes, but I prefer Osmotics (I think that's what it's called) or Dr Hauschka. I am prone to looking like a salami at times (sensitive skin) and these are suitably calming.

I don't have wrinkles because I'm fat.

I tell lies too.

I love Eve Lom but it can be drying for some skins. Spiezia may be better if your skin is very dry. mind, I really like Liz Earle so I'm not the woman to ask...

Have you tried Organic Pharmacy products? Expensive but I'm quite impressed. I don't think if they have a branch near you but you could always come to the one on ken high st and we could do lunch...

Oh, and I think you've been confused with Boris Johnson's sistger on another thread...
