Teen dd wants something to make the ends of her hair wavy a la Zoella

Just the ends, not the full length.

We've previously bought a curling wand but it doesn't do anything. I don't know if one of the ones with the clip thing might work better rather then the one we have where you just wrap it over and over?

Was also looking at the babyliss curl secret thing but not sure if it would just do the ends and also if it's fiddly. She needs it to be quick for doing it before school.

My friend has a perm.
I asked her how much time she spent every morning on her hair because it looked so good, imagining hours of tonging and styling etc.....and she said zero!

I use hair straighteners to do this

Grab a section of hair, straighten it to about 4 inches from the end, then curl the straighteners around and down in a smooth movement. It gives the end a curl / wave but keeps the rest of it straight and looks like a blow dry but is much easier to do!
