Thinking of popping my eyebrow virginity but don't know how...

I have fairly thin, pale eyebrows which don't require much maintenance. I've never used any product on them before and don't know where to start. I wouldn't use it on a daily basis but more when I'm going out to frame my face a bit more. I'm looking for a product that is fairly subtle and easy to use. Don't want an accidental slug brow!

Any recommendations? Pencil, powder, gel? I don't even know where to begin...

For dirt cheap and to give it a go you could try W7 gel, I think it's called queen of brows. It's a copy of benefit gimme brow and you literally comb it through

I use the brunette one. If you don't like it then you've only spent a £1.

I find powder the most natural looking, if you have an eyeshadow in a suitable matte colour that will do, or I use this from Superdrug.

I use the Rimmel pencil to outline then fill in with a angled brush and a brown matte eyeshadow. Eveyone always says how nice and defined they are.

Thanks everyone I'll get to a Superdrug and take a look at these products. I thought everyone was going to recommend Benefit, Mac etc and I was going to spend a fortune so it's good to know the cheaper products are good!

I use a Sleek Makeup eyebrow pencil which is angled and good for drawing. Good value and you can get it at superdrug/boots.

I booked a session with a makeup artist and she taught me how to fill in my brows and showed me a range of products I could use. There are lots of good YouTube videos you can watch as well. I think a good pencil is the easiest to start with.

The key is keeping the pencil sharp. Also the Rimmel one has a little brush on the lid. My wedding make up artist who is amazing uses the rimmel one and says it's just as good as higher end brands.

Maybelline Master Brow palette - it's fab. Like you, I needed something fairly light and natural. It has a wax, a powder and a highlighter, together with a little wedge brush, and it comes in two shades. You can keep it subtle or amp it up. Cheap, too.

I get my eyebrows threaded every now and then, and then just define the shape with the Maybelline palette.
