Is there a trick to putting on your makeup when you wear glasses?

It's driving me mad. I've only really needed glasses for the last three years, and I'm really struggling with makeup, even with a magnifying mirror. I have the glasses off and on about twenty times, which works for foundation/blusher etc but anything requiring precision such as eye makeup is awful.

Standing really really close to the bathroom mirror.

I ended up getting contact lenses for that reason. That and being able to see what was happening to me at the hairdressers! Otherwise, I use a light-up 10x magnifying mirror for those non-lenses days.

I'm glad I'm not the only one contemplating contacts just to solve this!
