what footwear with teal pleather pencil skirt

Just that, really ... Outfit is for Christmas lunch thing with a bunch of nice women.

I have teal faux leather pencil skirt (not a very bright teal) and am trying to build an outfit around it. Top will either be a metallic silvery T-shirt or something plain and black. I have a nice sequined clutch bag. But the footwear? Ankle boots and black opaques? Sparkly sandals and nude tights (a bit much for a lunch, maybe)? Something else I haven't thought of yet? Argh. Can never get footwear right. Thoughts?

what abour silver ? shoes, boots, flats or sneakers? or if you opt for the black top go with black boots. Sheer black or small fishnet would go with either.

Seconding what Eccles said, silver footwear. The skirt would look great with mid length silver boots and a black top.
