Not expensive, as I can't splurge but in desperate need of effective hand cream, preferably non greasy so can apply several times a day without having to wait ages each time for hands to "dry"!

TIA

Kiehls.

hollyisalovelyname · 03/12/2016 10:32

Eucerin foot cream -10% urea. For night time use.
M&S Les Senteurs Handcream Almond is lovely and soooo much cheaper ( and better) than L'Occitane which are extortionate for the little size of the tube.

Boolovessulley · 03/12/2016 14:14

Body shop hemp , half price today

Puppymouse · 03/12/2016 14:15

Another vote for Body Shop hemp

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 03/12/2016 14:15

Soap and Glory hand food. Or for really cheap but amazingly effective, Cremolia from Boots.

FreeButtonBee · 03/12/2016 14:58

L'occitane is well worth the money. I bought a large tube about 2 years ago and I've only just finished it. It's the only one that seems to last through hand washing. I don't find it greasy but then my hands are very very dry. I put it on to the back of my hand then dot on to cuticles and then rub into nails then over backs of hands and only then rub all over. I work at a desk and can type pretty much immediately using this approach.

hollyisalovelyname · 03/12/2016 15:50

FreeButton we'll agree to differ Smile
To me L'occitane Handcream is soooo expensive and just not worth €10 approximately for a tiny tube.

P1nkP0ppy · 03/12/2016 15:57

Vaseline Hand and Nails in a pink/red tube or bottle, cheap as chips and works beautifully on sore, cracked skin and strengthens nails better than anything else I've ever used.

P1nkP0ppy · 03/12/2016 15:59

And it isn't at all greasy unlike L'Occitane.

galaxygirl45 · 03/12/2016 16:04

I splashed out and spent £16 on one called Hand Chemistry after seeing it recommended in a magazine. It's literally given me new skin on my hands, they are softer than they've ever been and you only use the tiniest amount. The tube has lasted about 5 months so far and is still going strong. The Foot one is pretty good too.

MiracletoCome · 03/12/2016 16:24

The Norwegian formula is on offer in Waitrose st the moment. I have stocked up as it's very good

wowfudge · 03/12/2016 18:28

Another vote for L'Occitane. It isn't greasy and a little goes a long way. Another good one is Clarins.

Indecisivejo · 03/12/2016 21:06

I really like the body shop hemp one (I even quite like the odd smell)
I have also heard the palmers new Shea butter one is very good

Ambivalentmum · 04/12/2016 17:05

Aveeno cream, definitelySmile

Riversiderunner · 06/12/2016 23:39

Burts Bees

hollyisalovelyname · 07/12/2016 07:37

Why do all hand creams not have a flip top cap?
So much less messy than a twist on cap.
It's not rocket science.

Darklane · 07/12/2016 13:43

Aldi. The huge white tube with the blue lid.

LadyOfTheCanyon · 07/12/2016 14:48

Aesop resurrection or Neals Yard bergamot and mint. Both smell delish and aren't greasy.

WellTidy · 07/12/2016 14:54

I like Crabtree and Evelyn rosewater. I use a lot of hand cream - I have one in my handbag, one by the side of the bed and one in work. The Crabtree and Evelyn one is my favourite.

I find Occitane too greasy, Norwegian formula doesn't rub in easily enough, I don't like the smell of the body shop hemp one, body shop almond leaves a bit of a powder on me, clarins did nothing really towards justifying the price and Burts Bees can be sticky.

yummycake123 · 07/12/2016 15:00

Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail cream. It's really moisturising but absorbs well, so doesn't feel too greasy.

Mrs9C · 07/12/2016 20:37

The Body Shop Hemp one is also good, but I stopped using it...the smell... Confused

MelbourneClown03 · 07/12/2016 20:51

E45 Lotion. I slop that stuff on everywhere, that needs a bit of TLC. Dirt cheap and lasts for ever.

gardenrosie · 07/12/2016 21:04

Soap and glory is quite good - you have to put it on four or five times a day but it soaks in very quickly.

Strongbeatsskinny · 07/12/2016 21:08

I've been using one call du'it tough hands it contains urea it's pretty similar to the Norwegian formula the tube is pretty ugly though.

SooBee61 · 07/12/2016 21:11

Aldi's own hand cream with glycerine. Comes in at under £1.
