Which handbag from these 3?

Hi,

So I've had a difficult year, and want to treat myself to a new handbag (will be used mainly for work). I had a look around in store and shortlisted to these three, but can't decide which one to go for, so I thought I'd ask you lovely people instead Smile. So here goes:

  1. www.katespade.co.uk/uk/matching-sets/cedar-street-maise/invt/pxru4471-001

Thanks! Smile

I love 2, really don't like 1. 3 is somewhere in the middle. :)

1 I guess if the choice is out of those 3. On a side note I hate the way at the moment loads of bags don't have handles long enough to go over your shoulder but provide you with a stupid dog lead length handle to attach if you want the thing to bump annoyingly on your hip and slip off your shoulder because you can't use your elbow to clamp it to your body. It then looks weird because you've got another set of handles just sitting there.

I went through Kate Spade with a fine tooth comb last week in the US because I was determined to buy one as I have long liked her designs. But I left it in the end because they were all so meh for the price. >helpful<

Sorry OP. All your choices are very work appropriate whereas I tend to like more lurid bright stuff.

One.

BusterGonad · 26/11/2016 13:52

I like 3 and I also think a colour other than black would be lovely.

I like this one.

They are all lovely but I agree you should go for a statement colour! They have some really lovely ones

Josephinebloggs · 26/11/2016 14:57

I have several Kate spade bags. They are excellent and last well. I couldn't possibly choose.

YouHadMeAtCake · 26/11/2016 15:05

2 or 3.

I equally like one and two Smile

cardboardPeony · 26/11/2016 20:30

2 / 3

conserveisposhforjam · 26/11/2016 20:39

Can I derail a bit by agreeing with ladyofthecanyon about the dog lead thing AND the lurid thing and asking her what her meticulous research led her to buy/covet?

And vote for 3 too. I do like Kate spade. I think I might not be a proper grown up yet though...

Aderyn2016 · 27/11/2016 09:37

Can I also suggest that you look at Coach? I have a couple of their bags and I really rate their quality. They do good and quite frequent sales too.

polyhymnia · 27/11/2016 12:20

3 - but I too have problems with the long thin straps which don't make it a proper cross body bag and detract from it as an on the shoulder work bag. They should work but never seem to in practice.
