Just looking at pictures of her at a recent premiere and she just looks glorious. It's obviously down to money but what's she had done do you think? I want some of it! Shame I haven't got her bank balance but is there anything us mere mortals can do to look a bit fresher,youthful,vibrant?

I don't care what she does to her face so long is it dosnt affect her ability to write books. DD looks up to her and loves HP.

I think it's mostly a better photo and A LOT more makeup. She looks great though.

Absolutely shedloads of Botox. Her forehead never moves a millimetre whatever the rest of her face is doing. But I agree, also she is naturally very good looking and is doing a load of other stuff right in terms of exercise, diet, hair, makeup, choosing glamorous age-appropriate clothes.

I love JKR. She's so very plainly one of the good guys. Gives me hope.

I think the second JK pic is just good hair and really heavy make up. I think in real life that amount of make up would look awful.

I agree that it's just a dated day time photo of her in a cafe or a book shop in the 90s versus a night time shot where she looks very glamorous.

Money helps of course but if you showed me a picture of me out one evening last month and me with no make up ten years ago in a cafe, I'd probably prefer the more reccent one of myself in those circumstances anyway.

Doesn't she look like Steffi Graf in the first pic?

She looks great, very glamorous but without pillow cheeks and puffed up lips but I can't help noticing she's got the biggest earlobes I've ever seen on a woman.

She lives near me when she's in London. Without the special occasion gloss she looks quite ordinary, although very well dressed. Being tall and skinny always helps.

Make-up formulations have improved too. I don't look much older at 45 than I did at 25, but it's because at 25 I looked much older than I was. We all wore a full face of matt foundation and horrible cakey lipstick back in the 1990s.

at 45 I had no facial signs of ageing either, things start to sag and crease late 40's early 50's depending and genetics & liefstyle

It's microdermabrasion, chemical peel, Botox, fillers and probably shaving or threading too.

She has very buffed and beautiful skin

I think she's had a lot of work done. She looks good but I hope she doesn't overdo it.

I think Rihanna actually looks more beautiful in the first snap, Natural hair and shiny skin, just lovely.

She certainly looks to have had lots of work done in my opinion plus plenty of money for professional make up/ hair, etc

I know what your saying OP, it's money that does it. Money = good food, personal trainer, dermatologist and all their wares, great clothes and stylist, nip and tuck when needed. Look at Victoria Beckham before and after, her skin was quite bad and now it's pretty clear. Calvin Harris is a prime example too.

I don't begrudge her a penny of her earnings. She's got it fair and square and she's free to spend it as she wishes.
