Has anyone ever put real UGGs in the washing machine?

As title.

Mine are about 6 years old so owe me nothing I don't really wear them anymore but did the other day and ended up getting them muddy. They are now filthy along the toe area.

I'm considering putting them in the washing machine....but scared they'll come out ruined. Has anyone done this? If so how did they turn out?

I'm sure no one cares but they've come out really well. I gave the furry bits a brush with a tangle teaser and it's all fluffy again. They've still got some marks on them and pong a bit but so much better than before.

Nothing to add to the thread but at Jenny's pissy cat!

My cat peed in my mini shopping bag once (the foldy up ones you keep in your handbag?). Picked it up, unfolded, off the floor and it was a bit heavy so I thought I'd left something in it, like a bar of chocolate. Nope. Cat piss.
