I've got some vouchers to use here, what should I buy?

I hear the foundation is excellent and also the Ibiza sticks. Any recommendations?

I bought one Rock and Kohl pencil from this much hyped range. It slid half way down my face within a couple of hours and the pencil broke way before it should. Really disappointing for such an expensive luxury brand. I found customer services very unhelpful too which is a shame because I didn't and won't purchase another item.

I'm such a sheep Frugal! I always thought I was immune to such influences and never really saw the point of creative directors within makeup brands beyond a bit of window dressing, who knew I was so loyal Wink.

OP, other ranges to look at depends on the products. I think what is good and unique about the CT range is that she makes it accessible for people who aren't familiar with all the ins and outs of makeup in a more intuitive way than other brands. Kiko definitely do a lot of similar products, lip products, eye pencils, shadows, blushes, etc. but I think for base Bourjois will serve you better iyswim. I don't know if it's still for sale but the Rosie for Autograph collection at M&S had many products and packaging where the inspiration from CT was almost identical (including the beach sticks).

What's also unique about the CT range is the inclusion of those minute light reflective particles, whenever I wore the beach sticks (the bronzer + a blusher colour) people always complimented on how well rested and healthy I looked whether it was the case or not, the colours aren't spectacularly different but the way light plays with it is (though PP suggest that it may not be flattering on everyone). It's not something I've come across in many other brands (certainly not at a lower price point) without reading glittery or sparkly in all the wrong ways.

Are you looking to buy anything specific OP, may be easier to suggest where to look if you indicate what you were hoping to buy from CT or elsewhere?

I have one of the Chameleons and fuck it's a sparkly mess. Shame because the colour is great, just doesn't wear well.

Also, whenever I'm on one of their counters I can never ever get anyone to actually sell me something, they are all so busy otherwise.

I think her magic foundation has a beautiful finish, with plenty of coverage. Sadly, I bought a shade too dark so can only get away with it when I have a tan which is hardly ever!

The Light Wonder foundation is a staple for me, love the eye and lip pencils too. The powder is the only one I use, it's not too powdery iykwim.

I'm really tempted by the Sophisticate eye pallete, just because its matte. Baaa...

I also rate Kiko as a cheaper brand that feels a bit luxe. But tbh my make up is from all over the place- I wear Suqqu foundation and Superdrug Collection concealer, ByTerry eyeshadow and Maybelline mascara. It's been a case of trial and error over the years. If I was going to repurchase from CT I would go for the eyeshadow quads as they are nicely pigmented.

Best powder eye shadows I've ever tried were by Surratt. Nothing ever feels like them.

Thanks team, I'm mostly looking for a new foundation and powder combo. My friend has CT stuff and loves it all, the highlighter particularly

I don't really use eyeshadow and am happy to use my waterproof Rimmel liquid eyeliner, otherwise I have all benefit and Mac stuff
