I'm 36.

My skin has always been greasy and spot prone so this has been my main concern. Zit zapping.

Never bothered wirh moisturiser (as skin so greasy anyaway), never worried about wrinkles (as didn't have any).

Toady in the mirror I realise I do have wrinkles, around my eyes, and a HUGE one between my eyes!!!

Skin looks a bit crepy and for the first time in my life a bit DRY!!

So what should I do?

I have been out toady and bought a moisturiser for combination skin.

Am thinking of getting the estee lauder night repair, is that any good?

Any other nigt creams?

Still prone to balckheads and spots so can't have anything very greasy.(Idon't look quite as bad as I sound)

I know I should have thouhgt about this 20yrs ago. but I didn't. That's me, everything last miute.

I think this is all exacerbated by finding a grey pube last night!!! I'm getting old

definitely don't need spf 30 in the rain in london! the sun isn't high enough in the sky for your skin to make vitamin d until late march...

Guerlian makes an amazing Night Cream. Midnight Secret.

That is true bundle, but it is recommended that after any type of microdermabrasion, laser treatment or skin peel, you wear a factor 30 REGARDLESS of the weather to protect your skin from the UVB as well as UVA rays. Most cosmetic surgeons will ask you to wear factor 50+ after one of these treatments.

And the sun's rays can damage your face regardless of whether it is full on sunny or a miserable cloudy day. The strength is the only difference.

Ithought that I would leave spots behind with my twenties - no such luck . I was told though that in some cases really astringent cleansers can actually cause the skin to produce more oil and that actually a mild cleanser and a mild moisteriser may result in less greasy skin - and it seems to be true. I recently started using a night cream and then just use a really light moisturiser during the day. My skin is looking better already.

Rantum,

'Tis true. In all cases, astringent skin cleansers will cause more spots as the skin works harder to rehydrate itself.

Some grease is good of course, it offers us protection from germs, pollutants and harmful UVB and UVA rays.

Keep going with the skin routine. Give it a month. and your skin will be totally different. You have to use a cleanser and toner with it, mind. And absolutely no soap.

Is the Neals Yard Frankincense cream and the rose facial oil good. Somebody here said it'd had had good reviews - just thinking about buying some - some red capilllary thingies on my cheeks.
