Does anyone know a good hairdresser in central Norwich? I really need to get a haircut but the last few times I have gone have been awful. Have got difficult hair to cut and style as its not straight and not curly... Have tried T and Guy, J Olivers, M Giamello, Regis in Jarrolds and the new spa place opposite Jarrolds but am still searching.... Please help, I look like a preggers scarecrow at the mo!!!!

I always used to go to Garner, I think that's the name of the one almost opposite the Old (and new) Guild Hall, on St. Giles St. Good luck.

There are two pregnant scarecrows in Norwich? I thought I was the only one. I find John Olivers okay actually (did you go to Elm Hill or Orford Square/Red Lion St?). If you go to Red Lion St ask for Gary or Carrie, both excellent (he's hilarious and she's very lovely).

Otherwise, Blonde on Castle Meadow have a cut/colour offer on and a friend liked it there (I refuse to go in there, the skinny stylish svelte nymphs in there bring me out in a rash).

They're all so expensive too (and John Olivers have those full length mirrors, terrible decision!).

Thanks - think I might try Gary at J Olivers. Have been to both J Oliver branches and Carrie has done my hair a couple of times and all ok but then she botched it just before my wedding which was a bit stressful. Agree it is v expensive but scary pregnant scarecrow really not a good look, even DH commented the other day that it looked a bit unkempt and he NEVER notices my hair!

Not in the centre of Norwich I know, but I've used The Business - up Kett's Hill near Britannia Road - for years. Darren always works wonders on my hair, and it's reasonable and friendly. Not very glamorous but works every time!

Craig Coates has a salon near Exchange Street I think! LOL
