It's very nice but I think you'd have to be super tall for it to work on?

EllaHen · 12/11/2016 21:08

I love it - really love it.

ErnesttheBavarian · 12/11/2016 21:10

Would you wear knickers and a bra underneath?

Tenpastlate · 12/11/2016 21:10

Amazing dress!

Losgunna · 12/11/2016 21:11

Oh my that really is beautiful

CheddarGorgeous · 12/11/2016 21:47

I am very small Blush

Would definitely need a bra. Knickers optional Grin

Could you get one of those skin coloured bodysuit type things, like a swimming costume but underwear to go underneath? You probably wouldn't be able to see it unless you were looking for it then?
I don't think you really need to be tall either just well proportioned

CheddarGorgeous · 13/11/2016 18:03

I am fairly well proportioned. I've got a couple of hours in London tomorrow so I might try to track it down.

A bra showing through the sheer bits would run the effect.

SharingMichelle · 13/11/2016 18:06

Ruin.

Not run.

FishSauce555 · 13/11/2016 18:27

It's fab.

I don't think it's actually sheer though, think I can see flesh coloured lining?

ConvincingLiar · 13/11/2016 18:58

Worth trying on, looks gorgeous. I'm only a foot too short for it. And 2 stones too heavy.

CheddarGorgeous · 15/11/2016 07:53

Well I searched London yesterday and could not find it. I did however buy two Karen Millen dresses for work... so nothing to wear to the party but I will look smart at work Hmm

Hi! I actually work for Gina Bacconi. This dress has been a good seller for us, its really flattering as is in stretch jersey! I can offer you a special 10% discount mumsnet10 Let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in anyway!

user1479227322 · 15/11/2016 16:38

also its not sheer! it has a full lining! you cant see through the gold sequin detail!

OlennasWimple · 15/11/2016 16:39

Hang on - the side panels are sheer but lined, aren't they? GB buyers not exactly the target market for no-underwear dresses!

I like it but please, not with the chiffon wrap thingy!

Fab offer from user14.....

welcometowonderland · 15/11/2016 17:59

That is a fabulous fabulous dress.

MadameCholetsDirtySecret · 15/11/2016 18:03

Oh dear. I'm the only one who doesn't like it.

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 15/11/2016 18:06

I don't like it either Madame

Trying321 · 15/11/2016 18:31

I really like it, I don't think you'd need to be tall for it either.

CheddarGorgeous · 15/11/2016 19:02

Oh how exciting! I guess my only questions are (a) what is the sizing like and (b) could I pull it off as a 5'2" person (and could I get it taken up.

Thank you Smile

It's gorgeous!

QueenMortificado · 15/11/2016 19:11

It's gorgeous! And how kind to give a discount too

The only thing I dislike is the length on the model. This fashion for having ankle length stuff is awful, it's so unflattering. Given you're short OP it would be the right length on you so o think would work well

Redcrayons · 15/11/2016 19:14

Oh it's lovely. And I'm Envy that you have a super glam occasion to wear it to.
