If you are short and chunky - what dresses are you wearing with tights and boots?

5"2 size 16 with big boobs - I need knee length dresses... sick of living in jeans! 😀

I have just ordered some from Pepperberry and am the same size and shape as you.

Are they any good? I need belly coverage too! 😉

I'm just under 5 foot and I find Pepperberry's clothes are too long and the wrong proportions for me although I am size 12-14 with 32FF boobs.

SasherinSuite · 10/11/2016 13:55

Are you me? Grin I am exactly the same height and size and also have big boobs.

My favourite dress ever was bought from Lands End. Fits in all the right places and skims where I need it to (tummy).

Of course I can't find it anywhere on the site now but I did find it on US ebay.

They have a similar style here.

I find dresses made with a ponte jersey look best on me.

I also bought a dress from La Redoute recently but it was in the sale so no longer available Sad. Sorry I'm not being very helpful am I.

If there are so many of us short chunkies why is it so hard for us to buy clothes??

Off to Google ponte jersey!

Watching this with interest!

Short and booby is the very hardest body shape to buy clothes for IMO! I gave up on jeans entirely a few years ago and now live almost exclusively in dresses. I find that Apricot dresses (sold in New Look) are cut short and can accommodate my 32FFs but the material is not good quality. I have had some success with White Stuff tunics which are dress length on me and can look good with thick tights and boots in the winter. Yumi dresses are also cut short and I have found a couple of lovely lined cotton ones for summer in TK Maxx. Joy is also a good bet for short arses - although the style of their dresses is very youthful.

Well my Pepperberry dress order arrived. Sending most of it back, it seems too short in the body. Back to the drawing board.

I'm short and chunky too. Pepperberry doesn't work for me but White Stuff has in the past. Nothing this season though so no links sadly.
