Isabella Oliver maternity stuff - would I wear it afterwards?

I'm interested in getting this top from Isabella Oliver, but, as it's quite pricey and I've already spent a bit of money with them I was thinking I would have to be able to wear it afterwards too.

I realise I'm not going to spring back to shape so would get a bit of use from it immediately post birth, but what about, say, a year later? Has anyone tried their stuff and can tell me what the ruched sides look like on a non-pregnant figure, would it emphasise residual post-baby portliness and cause people to ask when it's due, or remain flattering?

This is my second and last pregnancy so can't justify it by saying I'll hold on to it for next time.

I like this top, but I don;t think it would look good withput a bump!! Also I guarantee after pregnancy you will not want to wear maternity clothes!!

nice top but....

my maternity clothes a year on just hang off me and look ridiculous. i think it may depend on what clothes size you are before and how quickly you lose weight.

is there not a cheaper version in topshop or dp's?

i don't think I would
it looks quite fitted which is fine when you've got a bump but post pregnancy you don't want anything fitted!! ( well I didn't)
and I found I wore my mat clothes to death and didn't want to wear any ofthe m post birht

or sell it on Ebay afterwards - Isabella Oliver stuff holds its value quite well.

Better yet, buy it on Ebay.

Hmm, thanks, some good points to consider there. I normally hovver round size 12, and last time it took over a year (well more like 2) to lose the weight. Also remember wanting to burn my mat clothes last time round!
Hadn't thought about ebay....
