Sparkly jumper

I'd quite like a fine knit jumper with a little bit of sparkle. I got a white company one but it's round neck and doesn't suit me as well as v or boat neck cuts. Whistles and jigsaw have some but expensive with a lot of synthetic fibres (which I'm bit totally against but I find them hit and miss).

Any recommendations?

Aaargh damnit. Do Reiss ever do codes?

Not that I'm aware of - every now and again, they announce an extra 10% off. Also, the outlet section of the website is well worth keeping an eye on.

I got this gold/black one from Hobbs which is pretty flattering.

Like the look of the Tesco one! For £12 especially!

Yeah, the Tesco one is tempting but I didn't really want black. The Khaki Hobbs one is nice too.

I think Banana Republic had some nice looking sparkly ones in merino if I remember rightly OP.

pure cashmere have a few and there are usually discount codes -this one might be too sparkly for your taste but the have quite a few on their website

Well I didn't slosh any food down the Whistles top - sorry taybert but I wore it all day then washed it (delicate cycle in a pillow case like I do the others). I've just tried it on again and it still looks spot on - no shrinkage or anything.

I felt good in it all day. It was just the right amount of 'dressed up' and I had several compliments. (Ok my husband asked what all the bits on my jumper were but let's move on.)

That said, it's definitely a thinner, flimsier fabric than the previous two so probably won't wear as well and I feel kind of sour about that. I make lots of allowances for Whistles quality and silly prices because I'm a sucker for that laid back, cool thing they do but this, I think, is taking the piss.

Thanks Flo! I've ordered the burgundy other stories one, mainly based on the choice of my bemused husband (which may not reflect any actual opinion). We'll see how the neckline is.
