Wedding dress...but not a bridal gown

I'm having a city wedding next year and want to wear something unique. If I link some of the dresses that I like, please can you help to find something similar, or suggest stores/designers?

I love Self Portrait and Marchesa Note, but I haven't found 'the dress' yet. I feel like I'm going around in circles looking at the same sites over and over.

Due to the time of year (April), I'd like some form of sleeve.

Any help/ideas appreciated Smile

Did you see this? lovely

MightyMunki · 01/11/2016 22:16

MrsLettuce... that is stunning!

I loved these dresses I saw in Anthropologie the other day:
www.anthropologie.com/en-gb/shop/byron-lars-carissima-sheath-dress2?color=011&quantity=1&type=REGULAR
www.anthropologie.com/en-gb/shop/byron-lars-lace-melange-pencil-dress-black?category=dresses&color=018
I think there was another one but I can't see it on their website.

What's your budget? Rue de Seine? Too bridal?

MrsLettuce · 01/11/2016 22:41

Tethers, hello. Did you see this?

Jaimx86 · 02/11/2016 07:42

Mighty, that Needle and Thread dress was on my 'watch list' too. You've got the kind of thing I'm looking for spot on Grin Have a few Needle and Thread dresses and like the fit.

Will look at all of the other links later as off to work worth a sticking cold now. Will be someone to look forward to when I get in Smile

'Something' to look forward to.
O, and budget up to about £800 unless I can wear it again. Conversely, I'd wear an £80 if it was the right style. It's just me and DP so might only have it on for a morning - have got a photographer though.

Be back later.

MrsLettuce, the blue Temperley dress is perfect at the top, but I daren't wear full length in case I get the bottom of it dirty. When I've been looking, I've been filtering out white/pink/cream but now I think I'll have to look at blue too! That red dress is beautiful. Imagine opening your wardrobe and seeing that Blush Shame I have no where to wear it.

tether Some beautiful dresses on Rue de Seine; I hadn't seen that site before. Drool! Unfortunately, they're too bridal for my plans.

Pants I hadn't thought of looking on Anthropologies, although I did look at their bridal range (only available in US...). I love the button front of that dress with the black belt and have added it to my list Grin Thank you!

Cavemum Have you ever had anything from Chi Chi? There isn't an option to zoom in on the pics so can't see the quality, although some designs did catch my eye.

Please keep me in mind if you see any other lovely dresses or remember any other websites. I'll be checking all of the ones linked in the Christmas sales too!

MrsLettuce, that is lovely. I ended up getting a similar dress made for my wedding for a budget-busting £250
