Those of you who bought the Valverde Botas boots from Spain

How long did they take to arrive in the U.K.

And what are they like?

I've just ordered these:

in brown.

Planning on wearing the more formal black ones (the Bota Kate Urbana) for smarter day wear and the brown ones with the chunky soles (the Bota Kate) for casual weekend wear and riding.

Does anyone else wear them for riding?

I did post on the original Kate Middleton thread but it seems to have died off now.

Correction - I've ordered the smarter ones in black and the more casual in brown (Bota Kate)

I haven't bought any but would love a report when they arrive. I was very tempted to get a pair last year so would love to hear what you think.

Feeling a bit nervous about spending so much on boots I haven't tried on. I'm a pretty standard shoe size though (all my shoes are the same size) and I've got slim calves so hoping I'll be ok!

I bought mine last year and they took about 10 days IIRC. Love them, and have just got them out again for this year. They have become very comfortable.
