Oil Cleanser

Clearly I'm way behind the times but oil cleansers? I've seen them mentioned on MN a few times recently and thinking back, a BB assistant used one to remove makeup a couple of months back but where have they come from?! Advantages over cream cleaners or nip & Fab Glycolic Fox pads (which I'm using to cleanse just now). Any good for skin which is very prone to dryness during the winter months? And, finally, recommendations please!

Thanks!

mow

My skin is also softer when I take the time to do it...

poppy you want to wash your face without water...? Well, there's cleansing mousse? Annemarie Börlind has a rather nice one. I really like their auquanature line, but I'm sure other brands have cleansing mousse as well.

cloth is easier with hot water and quicker than cotton pads - its probably just habit. I find if I clean my face at tea time rather than bedtime its much easier as I'm lazy.

I love the una brennan vit c oil too & then a cream or balm cleanser - emma hardie is a fave or m&s pure.

The Boots No7 'beautiful skin' cleansing oil is amazing, but I don't wash off as suggests I wipe off with a clean wet flannel.

Rids all make up and mascara etc even the blackest one that will not budge!

I use plain jojoba oil. It's fab, and v cheap. Does the job just as well as my previous cleanser, the Emma Hardie moringa balm. Doesn't smell half as good though!

Coming back to update that I bought the Decleor oil cleanser - smugmum's post reminded me that I used to love Decleor products! Anyway, it arrived today and is just lovely - smells nice and not a trace of makeup left.

Thanks for the recommendations!
