I've realised my skin doesn't like oil of any kind, does anyone know any oil free moisturisers that are good for dehydrated skin? Also fragrance free!

When my skin feels like that I use Diprobase to wash and moisturise. Doesn't look pretty but does the job!

(I mean the container doesn't look pretty - not the result of using the stuff btw)

Indecisivejo · 17/10/2016 14:56

Diprobase is paraffin based so defo not oil free, thank you though x

I use Nivea oil free day cream, have done for years.

Botanics Hydrating Day Cream from Boots, pretty sure its oil free

It's not oil free but have you considered something natural like Green People's fragrance free range? This works wonders on my husband and MIL who both have sensitive / eczema prone skin. [[https://www.greenpeople.co.uk/shop/by-product/natural-skin-care/organic-moisturiser-products/sensitive-scent-free-light-day-moisturiser-50ml]] I'm sure they sell samples / small packs to try.

I like Olay Total Effects in Fragrance Free Jo but I can't remember if it's one you've tried before.

Or what about the Superdrug Pure range?

bunnybleu · 17/10/2016 16:31

Or even the Boots basics range? They do a ff cream as well as a lotion.

Body shop seaweed moisturiser is good.

Moisture surge

coffeecakemum · 18/10/2016 00:50

Cetaphil lotion is fragrance free

I can't use anything oily either or my usually problem free skin goes apeshit. I do try various other stuff but always revert back to own brand superdrug (pure light hydrating moisturiser) as I've found nothing else that works consistently. I find some stuff feels great for a couple of days, then my skin decides that it's still too heavy a product.
