I would love to know people's honest thoughts about these boots

i would wear them but i like things that are a bit studenty vibe. When / how were you planning to wear them, and with what?

dontpokethebear · 16/10/2016 20:39

I like them too, probably for the same reasons as Hodd!

poldarker · 16/10/2016 20:50

I really don't like them and think they would be an odd length with both jeans and skirts.

I don't like them. Sorry.

crje · 16/10/2016 21:04

I love them.

Darthvadersmuuuum · 16/10/2016 21:05

I like them. They'll last for years too.

christinarossetti · 16/10/2016 21:12

I have them!

In black, bought a few years ago.

They're very comfortable and look good with skirts and trousers. I have several pairs of El Naturalista shoes, and they're definitely keepers.

I like these boots still, but am now hankering after a pair of sleek Chelsea boots as a contrast to the chunkiness. Will still be wearing these for years to come though.

AllPizzasGreatAndSmall · 16/10/2016 21:17

I don't like them - I think they look like something a Tolkien character would wear.
Whoever said they were studenty is obviously not thinking of a present day student with any interest in fashion.

NicknameUsed · 16/10/2016 21:19

Not for me. Sorry.

timeforabrewnow · 16/10/2016 21:29

They are a bit hobbit-like.

Sorry.

However, this comes from someone who lives in trainer/walking type shoes :)

ChorusLine69 · 16/10/2016 21:34

I agree with Allpizzas they are indeed rather Tolkien looking and pretty ugly ( in my humble opinion)

RebelandaStunner · 17/10/2016 07:56

They remind me of Marcus's mum in About a boy.
Nay vote from me.

Runningupthathill82 · 17/10/2016 08:03

It's a no from me. They'd make my feet look like huge flippers.

ClaudiaApfelstrudel · 17/10/2016 08:21

not sure what they'd go with tbh

IllMetByMoonlight · 17/10/2016 08:27

Lovely. Look nice with skinny jeans, or skirt and woolly tights, perhaps even a pair of leg-warmers? Sort of rustic pixie?

hoddtastic · 17/10/2016 10:10

it was me who said studenty, the fashion faddy who dress like mini-wags or young executives wouldn't wear them, the cool ones would. ;)

bottleofredplease · 17/10/2016 12:55

Okay, thanks hoddtastic. I am not a student but I am definitely cool Wink I don't wear super smart clothes or any shoes that are too pointy. Will wear with skinny jeans mostly.

Hideous!

RhiannasWeave · 17/10/2016 13:02

I don't like them, sorry. They look like clown shoes

desperatehousewife2 · 17/10/2016 21:21

I think they're truly awful, sorry OP!

ninnypoo · 17/10/2016 21:22

I really don't like them. I'm not sure what student-y means but no one I went to uni with would have worn anything like this.

CostaBrava · 17/10/2016 21:26

To me they look a bit Maid Marian. In the Tony Robinson ones.

Oblomov16 · 17/10/2016 21:40

I dont like them sorry. They are very expensive.
