PLease help with completing my BLACK TIE look!!

ok..got the dress..finally. Hopeless with links but it's the ones from debenhams PF one black silk short with diamonte clips on straps. Very flattering..helps the small norks and covers the large behind! Got the shoes, black satin peep toes which are high.
Now..what do you think of a feather shrug thing..I never do glam and would like to feel fab! or will it be too cold in March and therefore better to wear coat??
bag..shall I go for a clutch with a diamonte trim??.. Tights or fake tan (Salon. Biggest prob is necklace, I am not a huge fan of jewellery so it has to be simple but wear do I start..don't want to be too diamonte!
Would love to hear some ideas girls...everything has to be online or access to Monsoon Next Marks and of course ebay a fave..thanks to all in advance..I really appreciate it!

if it was me i would go for a spray tan, simply because its all over and it will give you a nice colour on your arms and chest as well, personally i dont like tights would go for hold-ups instead(if you dont have a tan).

all the things Wurly suggested are good, but if it were me I'd think abotu wearing long sparkly earrings and going without a necklace

also consider a sparkly something for hair if you're having it up

I wouldn't do a feather cape myself - in March better to get something that's relly warm (big velvet wrap is my favourtite) and ditch it once you're inside.

Tights with peeptoes are a huge NO - fake tan and a pedicure.

i wasnt sure whether winnie had her ears pierced, or maybe even just a nice bracelet if your not sure about a necklace.

Think perhaps earrings might be better although all those necklaces were fab WW I think perhaps if I have the diamonte clips on the straps..oh ideas..ideas..where do I get fab earrings?
So that's just for the ball on the 3rd March then for my SIL glam 40th it's black tie with a touch of pink!!!! Pink nailpolish I think.
Are pedicures worth the money if my toes just peek out?!

no clip needed in bobbed hair - mine is long so I default to an updo

Maybe don't pay for a pedicure but make sure hooves are groomed

the Oasis shrug is lovely - for some reason I had it in my mind you wanted a white one with a big ribbon bow at the front (as top left here ), but that one would look wonderful.

Earrings (like the necklaces) only need to be bling, not expensive - with a bob I think diamond-a-like studs might look very nice (try New Look, M&S etc).

Ok..love those earrings WW..will order and see what they like.perhaps stud ones might be too plain..are those dangly ones a no no..my hair is a longish bob..longer than chin length but will look around..and for bracelet too but skip the necklace.

if you have a claires accessories anywhere local then have a look in there, they have some really fab stuff in there and they are really cheap.

think as long as your earrings are not longer then your hair they will be fine. Any of these bags would be fine, which ever you prefer (personally i wouldnt worry about a bag i only end up with dh's crap in it)
