Beauty Advent Calendars 2016

What beauty advent calendar(s) are people buying/coveting this year? There are sooooo many gorgeous ones appearing on blogs etc., I just can’t decide which one to poise myself to pounce on when they start to land. Currently torn between M and S and Clinique, though I usually go for Boots and/or Benefit. ….

Just got the aldi lacura calendar yesterday, still plenty in store. Have opened the first door already but I figured using the products now will have me looking great in the run up to xmas.

Need another one for dec now, am eyeing the M&S one but also the liberty one will have to hide it from DH

I had the Selfridges one for a few years but got bored with it as it was full of Lancôme crap. Last year I had the Liberty one which was divine. Afraid to drop hints to Mr Harvey though as he has probably got it for me and will be annoyed if I mention it... But then what if he hasn't?
Have also been eyeing up the Jo Malone but that is very very expensive.

I had a quickie look at my Aldi one but the cardboard sleeve doesn't have the little doors to open, you need to slide the plastic tray out.................how the Devil do I know what item is what day??

I'm going to save it until , oooh , a week before the 1st ( Disclaimer: I am ancient, I need a head start. I might look lush by Christmas then )

70 not sure what you mean? My Aldi calendar had a cardboard sleeve around it which you take off and then the doors are numbered as usual.. maybe you took the actual box off as well?

Is it under the box (the outer gold box? ) that has the doors? I just wanted to see what sizes they were, the phials were all sealed under plastic.

I have bought the Bare Minerals one for my DIL

I've ordered the rituals one. There's loads of stuff in it, many of the bottles are 50ml which is a good size for advent calendar.

Its only £49 which is a bargain

I've just ordered the benefit one. I can't wait for December (the fricken 12th! Who the f**k only does a 12 day calendar? Might have to buy another one for the other twelve days now)

I've ordered the liberty one and will try and get the M&S one. Feels a bit indulgent to have two but I loved the products in the M&S one last year and the other is a treat although I plan a few more treats in the black friday sales

DH has bought me the Selfridges one (had it last year and loved) - super excited!!

I like the idea of this, but got the M n S one last year and still have most of it in the box. Maybe this year, I'll reuse it and actually make use of the products.

Oh fgs. Just save your money on this overpriced shit and buy yourself a lovely bottle of perfume

The M and S one last year was very reasonable and contained things I liked the look of - as an idea - but I just haven't incorporated them into a regular routine.

Also DH lost it until Xmas Eve, which didn't help.

I figure it will be just as good this year...
