Converses with tights?

I like wearing shortish dresses with tights in Autumn/Winter but now struggling with footwear. Boots from last year look a bit bulky so wondering about wearing my Converses just not quite sure....

Yes. I just wore this combination yesterday - tights + converse (Black/White)

I also don't see the problem wearing tights with Stan Smith, Superstar, or Dr Martens. Or any trainers actually.

I wear tights with purple sparkly converse and with Docs. I'm 36. I refuse to be a grown-up, though. I bought the sparkly cons because my 2yo (at the time) had sparkly shoes and I was jealous.
