Avon - any 'must haves' or 'avoids'?

I have a friend who is just starting as an Avon rep. I'd like to support her by making a few purchases but didn't want to get anything useless! Any top tips of what to buy from Avon? I'm 49 if that makes any difference, not an expert make-up applier but could really do with updating my make-up. But don't only keep your recommendations on make-up, I'm interested in other products too! Also, what should I definitely not bother with?!

The new primer and setting spray is amazing. A true replacement for the urban decay one. Glimmer sticks, the ultra colour rich lipsticks and pressed powder are great

What do I do with the pearls? I've tried Jen a few times at various stages in my make up and I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing!!

Wow this has moved on. Thanks everyone. I was going to go for the colour correction balls as I vaguely remember having something similar at one point (I think they were from the body shop and they were fab). I'm also going to get a glitter stick after these recommendations. A few people have mentioned Anew. Anybody use it for their whole regime? Just wondered if individual items are as good as people say when they're used as one-offs.

Love the glimmer sticks and the big lash mascara. Bubble bath good too and lasts ages.

Foundations -not so good!

Facial oil is really nice

I love their shampoo, conditioners & skin so soft body wash & dry oil spray.

Great hand cream. Not greasy, and works really well

Their hand creams. All of them.
Planet spa face mask.
Tahitian body spray, it's also a body oil.
The bubble baths.
The senses shower gels the Rio is amazing.

I like the gel nail varnish. Also the make-up setting spray is good - I've got a friend who's a makeup artist and she won't use anything else.
I usually stock up on bubble bath and shower gel too as its often on offer.
