Fellow werewolves - can your leg hair beat mine?

I am so SICK of hiding how bloody hairy I am. I'm off on holiday today and the drains are begging for mercy after an hour of veeting and shaving and plucking. My legs are particularly spectacular, as the dark, coarse pelt comes up lovely against the blue wobbly flesh I find. I've decided that I am the hairiest legged woman on mumsnet and would like to invite any pretenders to the throne to submit their nominations here.

I am sharing photos of my shins about a month-ish since my last veet. If you can beat them, I salute you.

I think Sid the sloth has found his perfect mate with that pelt!!

Flanderspigeonmurderer · 18/09/2016 14:02

How did you get a photo of my legs?

VimFuego101 · 18/09/2016 14:06

I could probably beat that if I tried. I started epilating last year, and some of the hair seems to have given up growing now, which is helping.

HanarCantWearSweaters · 18/09/2016 14:07

I think I can, OP! I am exceedingly well furred. Especially my knees Hmm

Avert your eyes!

Hmmm I like the density at the knee but the rest of the shin looks freezing cold compared to mine, sorry - second place so far! Grin

I think I beat you all, but I haven't touched my leg hair for over two years. Grin Shaving makes my legs very dry and itchy, so I don't bother. Blush I last did it the night before my wedding.

WetsTheFinger · 18/09/2016 16:23

I like the furry ankle covering on the latest contender Grin looks lovely and toasty.

Humph. I could win this legs down if I didnt keep it under control with a strimmer. Would win the moustache competition too.

HanarCantWearSweaters · 18/09/2016 16:47

Nonsense, dementedma; if I go too long between threading I look like a face double for Conchita Wurst.

dementedma · 18/09/2016 16:56

Pah sweaters. I can make Tom Selleck look baby faced and as for chin hairs......bring it on!

HanarCantWearSweaters · 18/09/2016 17:13

We may have to call a truce unless one of us can plait it a la Gimli.

Yeah, but do any of you have TWO-TONE leg hair, eh? Do ya?

My leg hair resembles Limahl from Kajagoogoo. Blonde all the way until 3" from ankle when it turns the blackest black.

We demand photographic evidence beans

Flanderspigeonmurderer · 18/09/2016 18:16

When I had my son I had recently had my legs waxed. But only a half leg, so I still had extremely hairy thighs. Obviously I didn't really care as I was busy giving birth, but I do wander what they thought of my odd textured two tone legs.

TheLegendOfBeans · 18/09/2016 18:18

It was 30 degrees here in the SE a few days ago so the Wilkinson Quattro was out but give it about 10 days or so...

In all seriousness, I grew up in Dr Martens and the "colour change" matches the height of the boot.

I bet the Worst Witch didn't have to put up with this shit when she hit her 30s.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 18/09/2016 18:19

I'm swear mine comes back thicker every time I epillate. And I once had my bikini line waxed and the hair grew back longer and thicker further down my legs! Shock

Of course, I've managed to tackle that now by being so fat my thighs rub together and you can't see any hair.

bigsnugglebunny · 18/09/2016 18:57

Oh no! I found my people... But alas too late. I had the most glorious, soft, hirsute pins until last night. I'm going swimming for the first time in about two years this week, so decided to shave them (also for the first time in about two years) they're stubbly and spiky already - will I ever learn to love my leg hair?

takesnoprisoners · 18/09/2016 19:14

I see this 10 mins after my shave. Will take a picture next week for all of you to faint. Grin
