Loose tops to wear with skinnies?

I really want to crack this look but I'm failing miserably. I tend to wear jeans and gazelles but can I hell find some nice tops to go with them. I want loose so they will skim my tummy but I want something that will wash well and look as though I've put some effort in

Go for slash necks...so it's not frumpy...a tiny bit of shoulder is far nicer than a big, baggy top. Choose three quarter sleeves or short...not long....long sleeves and skinnies looks badly proportioned.

Gap do a luxe T-shirt which is viscose so has a lovely drape and slight sheen to the fabric. Very flattering and in some good colours too.

Will have a look at both options thanks. Not sure what a slash neck is but Google will hopefully point me in the right direction.
