Ugh blonde, downy, fur-face out of control

I am very fair haired and fair skinned and I have the most horrible furry face at the moment! I swear it's getting worse as I get older.

What can I do to get rid of it please? I've had lip and chin waxes at the salon, but this is all over my fecking cheeks and jaw too, so short of waxing my entire visage I don't really know what to do.

People who I'm close enough to complain to about it have said it isn't noticeable as it's so fair, but... it is. At least I think so.

What to do? Any ideas?

To make things difficult, I'm on a bit of a budget at the moment so I can't really justify frequent / expensive trips to the beauty salon.

Any advice much appreciated. TIA.

Thanks StevieBuns. Ordered a set 👍

Have you tried them yet?

Yes, I have tried them! I really like them and haven't noticed any adverse effects yet. The only thing is that there are no instructions in English on the packet but it's fairly self explanatory. I will probably use them again in about a week's time as I'm going on holiday.

Threading. But take valium first if they're going to do your sideburns.

I started using the facial razors after seeing Lisa Elderidge had dermaplaning done. Plenty of videos on youtube on how to use the razors. No it does not grow back thicker. Makeup looks better on now and saves me from using bleach every so often.

Get it threaded

I've had peach fuzz since my mid-20s. All blonde, except the couple of usual dark chin hairs (which are multiplying!). I don't think others notice it much, but I do love staring at the smooth facial skin of girls with that lovely tanned skin, when I'm on the bus etc... I have pale, freckled, fuzzy skin. I do my side-burns with this sort of epilation device. It's like a tightly coiled spring on a stick that pulls fine hair out. I run it across my cheeks / under my chin too. And then get the nail scissors out to any long / sticky-out ones. Don't think I'd shave though...

Do you use soap or shaving gel with them?

Just had a read about dermaplaning. Sounds interesting. I think mine started with oily / spotty skin / hormone imbalance when I was younger. But I fear it will get worse as I get older...

I have dark hair, the problem with shaving/waxing/faffing with my chops/sideboards is that it's very obvious where the bits I've done border the bits I haven't done - if I did it all so that it was 'even' I'd have no facial hair left incl eyebrows! 😬

Also the random lone wolf pube type curly hairs are delightful but at least it only takes seconds with a tweezer to sort.

...at least the one growing out my mole will come in handy for Halloween Grin

Will be cheaper than threading and much, much less painful! Plus has an anti-ageing effect that threading doesn't give you. Marilyn Monroe did it apparently.

And of course, if I've then shaved my sideburns (dark), I may as well flash my IPL smooth skin thingy over them!

Has anyone tried a No-No? What exactly is it? Saw them in TK Maxx.

Have you ever seen photos of celeb women where they have this sort of almost blue-tinged glow to their face, highlighting the angles? Not like contouring, but their make-up looks 3-D. Maybe that's from dermaplaning? Makes their features sharper? Also liking the anti-aging aspect... Suspect VB has it done. She's has PCOS / oily skin.
