Handbag inspiration for 30th

My 30th birthday is next month and I'd like some handbag inspiration please.

I'm currently 8 months pregnant with twins which has massively changed the price range I was looking at as I'd originally planned on a Mulberry but can't justify that amount now. I'd probably be looking at spending no more than £300 at a real push (even then I might not be able to hand it over!)

I'm looking for something in an oxblood/wine colour and a medium to large bag that I can use daily with enough room for all my own bits plus some baby supplies.

For info my biggest bag purchase was my Louis Vuitton neverfull MM which I love although it sat in its box for about 2 years before I plucked up the courage to use it!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I've been looking at bags constantly since my post and after having a good think it'll be better to go for a smaller bag that I can wear cross body as suggested for days when I have the changing bag with me also. I won't need a big bag as I don't like the though of carting around two large bags so going smaller is the best option I think.

I've been speaking to my mum about it and she's said if it's a Mulberry I want then get one, she's refusing to give me money as she knows it'll just sit in my purse and i'll use it on the babies so she's happier to help out with the bag.

For days I don't need a whole changing bag with me i'll just use my LV Neverfull for my own things and a few nappies/change of clothes etc.

So, with that said i've been looking at (really) small cross body bags that will hold my phone, card holder, keys, lipstick and small mirror as that's all i'll need for myself and it'll be easier to access rather than having to go in and out of the changing bag which will be under the pram (doesn't fit over the handles).

I need to go in store and see it but I think i've decided on the Mulberry mini lily in either black glossy goat or the oak natural leather. I figured it's better to get a colour I can use all year round that'll go with everything, i've watched some YT videos and it can fit what I need it to and it'll hopefully last for years!

I did look at the Mulberry postmans lock clutch but i'm not too keen on the strap for that and I keep going back to the lily.

Does anyone have the mini lily? Would love to know what you thought/think of it.

chloe Just re-reading all the posts and realised you said about getting yourself a medium Lily, have you seen them in store, are they a good size?

I had a look online but I think i'd cram it full of more stuff than I actually need Grin.
