What kind of stuff do your 13 - 15 year olds wear

I have noticed dd looks quite babyish compared to other girls her age at school on non uniform days. She is quite young for her age generally tbh but she is starting to notice and wants stuff but doesn't know where to start.

She mostly wears joggers/leggings and tshirts with motifs or some kind.

Help!

My DD 14 & her friends wear leggings, jeggings or shorts, but always with a crop top, crop jumper, or crop sweat top, plus trainers. She owns a couple of short swishy skirts, and everyone rolls their school skirts up until they barely cover their bums. It's quite a sporty look, I suppose.

Looser fitting jeans or longer skirts would not be tolerated. High heels and 'prettiness' are not sought after at all, although they mostly wear make-up to one extent or another.

Long hair is apparently essential. Brands are generally not important, except that DD currently desires trainers by Nike (Janowskis?), Adidas, and Vans.

Preferred shops: Top Shop, American Apparel, Urban Outfitters ( outside her budget), Primark, New Look, H&M.

Also online shopping at ASOS, Boohoo.

this would be a dream item

this is the kind of look, but replace the heels with Converse or other trainers

another example, but for DD they don't have to be any particular brand.

My dd doesn't wear crop tops.

Generally skinny jeans, converse (or similar - non branded) or boots, t-shirts and a zip up hooie

Agree about the long hair that's never tied back though - drives me insane!

Down here hype is the big teenage brand at the moment.
Skinny jeans/leggings and crop tops with trainers seems to be what most kids wear

Skinny jeans from primark, tops and t shirts from new look, Nike or converse trainers. Bomber jacket from Asos. If I had the money to get it for her she would live in stuff from adidas, hype and Nike! It all seems to be about the brands with dd (13) and her friends unfortunately! (I'm on a low income). They all like primark and new look though too so that's manageable.

Everything seems to have to be as tight as possibly possible! Something which I continually argue with dd about...! Grin

Dd dresses on the younger side but usually seen in leggings, tshirt , hoodie, canvas lace ups/trainers. No cropped tops here either!
