best hair product to give my slippery hair some texture?

I've just had a fringe cut and would love some texture, I like the French girl slightly dishevelled style but my hair is thin (though lots of it, hairdressers keep telling me ) and straight and it just sort of falls flat and is too slippery to style, if that makes sense. I can get a good amount of volume with moose and it holds a wave/ curl quite well it's just when it's straight it looks so boring!

I've tried a few texturiser type products but none of them seem to do much, anyone have any fab product recommendations please?

Oribe dry texturising spray - very expensive but amazing.

I'd also say sea salt spray. I use Toni & Guy.

Dry shampoo is quite good for this - try good old Batiste.

Tigi small talk makes my fine slightly wavy hair look thicker and more interesting

Redken Wind Blown Dry Finishing Spray is excellent. It has a strong tuberose scent which I love but isn't for everyone.

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo Uplifting Volume is a dream.

L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Wild Stylers Next Day Hair, as good as the Oribe dry texturising spray (if not better) for a third of the price, very much delivers that 'je ne sais quoi intentionally dishevelled' look.
