best hair product to give my slippery hair some texture?

I've just had a fringe cut and would love some texture, I like the French girl slightly dishevelled style but my hair is thin (though lots of it, hairdressers keep telling me Hmm) and straight and it just sort of falls flat and is too slippery to style, if that makes sense. I can get a good amount of volume with moose and it holds a wave/ curl quite well it's just when it's straight it looks so boring!

I've tried a few texturiser type products but none of them seem to do much, anyone have any fab product recommendations please? Grin

Oribe dry texturising spray - very expensive but amazing.

I use VO5 surf texturising gum stuff here: m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub?path=%2Fen%2FVO5-Extreme-Style-Surf-Style-150ml_985174%2F&unCountry=uk

Perfect for messing up my very straight hair

Super drug sea salt spray

I'd also say sea salt spray. I use Toni & Guy.

Dry shampoo is quite good for this - try good old Batiste.

Tigi small talk makes my fine slightly wavy hair look thicker and more interesting

Redken Wind Blown Dry Finishing Spray is excellent. It has a strong tuberose scent which I love but isn't for everyone.

L'Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Wild Stylers Next Day Hair, as good as the Oribe dry texturising spray (if not better) for a third of the price, very much delivers that 'je ne sais quoi intentionally dishevelled' look.
