Size 18 Jeans that don't go all baggy after 20 minutes

I can't find jeans or jeggings that don't look like clown trousers after 20 mins. They look ok trying them on in shop, but utter shit later. I have drawers full of them.

Tell me your secrets please!

New Look curves range

TealGiraffe · 29/08/2016 21:58

Dorothy perkins eden jeggings. Only jeans that dont give me baggy arse.

I have approx 7 pairs in black (for work) and about 8 other colours (purple / green / denim, etc)

Very comfy and also come in high waisted so no arse crack flashing either

Imflabulous · 29/08/2016 21:58

Dorothy Perkins Eden & Bailey have stretch and don't go baggy and I'm an 18 if that helps 😀

RumAppleGinger · 29/08/2016 22:00

I think I'm in the minority but I love the fit of Next lift and shape straight legged jeans.

ChildrenOrCats · 29/08/2016 22:03

Another vote for Dorothy Perkins Eden & Bailey. Also Darcy.

Saves the hoik and wiggle to tuck the arse/belly/love handles back in Grin

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 29/08/2016 22:05

Legends the lot of you. Will shift my arse to nearest high street pronto!

Ooh, good thread. I bought a size 18 pair of jeans from Littlewoods recently. Chucked the packaging because they seemed to fit nicely but are easily now closer to a 22 after just a few wears. So annoying!

ChildrenOrCats · 29/08/2016 22:11

I've always found DP online better than the shop. My local one only seems to stock up to a 16 on a good day.

25% off sale this weekend!

TealGiraffe · 29/08/2016 22:12

Yes get online! Edens are £15 each this bank hol i may have ordered a fresh black pair

tigerdriverII · 29/08/2016 22:13

Try sainsbos. I have a couple of cheap pairs that fit soooo well. Esp their girlfriend style.

botanically · 30/08/2016 13:34

Are you sure you need an 18? I had the same problem no matter what brand I tried. Then I bought a 16 and although I felt like an overstuffed sausage for a few days they soon stretched to fit perfectly. I think if jeans fit perfectly in the changing room they end up a saggy baggy mess soon after.

IPokeBadgers · 30/08/2016 13:58

I have this problem with jeans, I think it is exacerbated by being an apple shape....it is hateful.

RepentAtLeisure · 30/08/2016 14:30

Sainsbury's... I've stopped buying blue jeans from anywhere else. Not the black ones though, the cheap dye they use makes them reek.

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 30/08/2016 16:12

botanically, I have a saggy mum belly that 16's just squeeze....it looks soooooo bad.

I am a size 18 on the bottom and I get my jeans from new look. I buy the "skinny high waisted". They also hold in your tummy and stay up just fine! :)

Libitina · 30/08/2016 16:49

Next or Joules jeans for me size 18.

tshirtsuntan · 30/08/2016 16:54

New look high waisted skinny....don't sag, hold it all in and only a tenner Grin

botanically · 31/08/2016 14:23

I actually gave up on wearing jeans at all because of my tummy then one day I tried these, and took the plunge with the 16. Honestly they'll stretch! Same way the 18s do to be too big.

I only tried these on because they were on the reduced rail. Turns out they weren't reduced but they were so good I bought them anyway. They come in straight and skinny leg too, this link is to the boot cut:

In case the link doesn't work they're Jasper Conran shape enhancing high-waisted jeans. They're £45.
