I think I want one, but there is something niggling me.

Not sure what Confused, can anyone tell me? Grin

I had one 20 years ago, maybe it's the feeling I should not try to dress like I did in my 20s?

Something inside me is saying :"no!" . Is it my inner Daily-Mail-reader telling me to start wearing fitted dresses and nude court shoes?! (Never!)

I really want one, but need to know what this niggle is....

I'm 44 & it wouldn't occur to me not to wear one. I've never stopped!

I prefer ones which are a bit more fitted round the waist & flattering, rather than square & boxy.

I wear it with straight trousers look really fat in skinnies, casual dresses with leggings.... And usually a scarf

Sorry, op didn't mean to make you feel 'ouch' Blush

I don't think this is about age. I'm one of the older posters and as far as I'm concerned, if something suits you, then it's age appropriate. But I do think it's easy to get into a rut with clothes.

I'm actually having a similar dilemma with tube skirts - I've worn them for several years, I think they suit me and they're comfy and practical but I'm starting to feel bored with them and I'm ready for a shake up
