Any recs? Sort of like a gel I suppose, I want to just clip hair all up off my face while still wet when I cba to dry and straighten! So is there something that will hold it in place while still wet that won't make it look crispy or greasy?? Hope this all makes sense! Thank u :)

Hairspray

Why don't yo use kirby grips to keep your hair off your face.

If you section your fringe, you can grip one in place then use thesecond section of hair with a second grip to conceal the first. If you sort of cross the grips you can conceal most of them.

Don't forget that the wavy part goes nearest to the skull and the top part is the flat bit - it's designed to lie flat to be less noticable. For some odd reason no one seems to know this.

Styling wax

I didn't know that about hairgrips Annie though it makes sense . I thought the ridged bit went uppermost so you could overlap the grips in a X shape but it would work the same flat side up.

Jo what about applying gel to wet hair, brush back, hairband while it dries and if you need a kirby grip, you can slide into place but take the hairband out before you go outside.

Just use hairspray something like elnett that is fine

I find hairspray and gel make the hair too stiff. A friend recommended a powder styling thing and that did the job. It works a bit like dry shampoo by coating hair making it more manageable. I think this is the one I used www.superdrug.com/Fudge-Urban/Fudge-Urban-Powder-Styler-10g/p/625654
