In search of an understated leather jacket...

I have an old black one from Gap that I used to love but now looks somehow a bit dated. I've tried on loads in All Saints but they're sooo expensive that I want to get it right. They had a lovely dark grey-black one that looked like washed leather, which I think was the nicest on me but has anyone seen any elsewhere else that would suit a 5ft7 size 12-14 34-yr old who usually wears Gap, Zara, H&M/Bretons, skinnies and a shitload of grey marl?? I don't want cropped or collarless, and I don't want it too, um, motorbikey. But general biker style is OK! Just not full-on Hell's Angel. Any help much appreciated.

I think this is the one I liked - I liked the fact that it's not too shiny:

I like that one actually, Mrs9C, although I was after one a bit more washed-looking, IYKWIM. The All Saints ones make it look very reasonably priced though!

Sorry for the late reply Laquila, but if you still want to know about Muubaa sizing, I am a 32G (size 12/14 depending on shop, if vanity sizing can be a 10) but I think chest size is the most important when buying leather jackets, you don't want to be squashed!
As a 32G their size 14 is ample enough for me, even before I lost weight and was a 34G it was fine.
They are meant to fit snugly with just a thin layer or two underneath.

I think if it wasn't for my G cup I could get away with a 12 Muubaa, as you are smaller than me you might find that better?
BTW returns are swiftly refunded and I just realised I actually have 4 of their jackets, Blush all get worn frequently for work and play and all bought in their sales over the last few years and still going strong.

Also google Muubaa discount vouchers, like All Saints (and aside their frequent sales plus Brank Alley, etc) they also run voucher discounts off full list price from time to time. Just keep your eyes open.

Interesting about the All Saints jackets and TKK Max too, I am a bit of a leather/suede jacket addict so might look into those myself in the future.
Let us know how you get on and what you ultimately decide to go for.

I forgot! A lot of people on this threads seem to adore Massimo Dutti leather, I thought I'd mention it. Not that I want to confuse you!
