Hi,

I'm absolutely useless when it comes to fashion etc. I'm a size 24/26 and have a family function coming up next weekend. It's all DH's side of the family and it's only being held at the in-laws house, but I have absolutely naff all to wear. I have no idea how to dress for my shape and always feel frumpy/awful in pretty much everything I wear. I am working on losing weight.

I'd love to wear something maybe smart/casual and have been browsing on simply be for some inspiration but I'm coming up empty. I have big calfs (sob), bingo wings and a bit of a double chin. If anyone has any advice on what might suit me I would be eternally grateful. I've attached a picture of me in case it helps - apologies it's not the best picture, I don't generally get in pictures but DH caught me in a pic he was taking of DC bowling. Flowers and thanks in advance

Thank you Loli Flowers

I've lost about two stone since the start of the year and am hovering at the 20 stone mark, so I still have a long long way to go in terms of weight loss. I seem to get to a certain point and then put everything back on...I've a very bad emotional/stress eater, I don't eat breakfast and eat too much of the wrong things which isn't healthy. I've been bigger my entire life and just always go for the bigger sized clothing as nothing really sits right or it clings in the wrong place. I'm going to send everything back and reorder a smaller size and see how I go.

I used the boob or bust one demented. I think I might have not measured quite right. I'll try and go down a band size as I think the 42 is possibly too big

If you felt the cup was OK then going down in the back would mean going up in the cup to get the same cup volume

Following this thread!
I just checked out Lindybop and am seriously in love with a few of their dresses.
How generous is the fit, does anybody know?

So if I went to a 40K it would be like the J cup? I'm really confused when it comes to bras.

I'm not sure about the fit of Lindybop stuff Rainbow but I've heard good things about their stuff so tempted to go for it and buy something from them.

Thesilentbang well done on your weight loss. I'm also on that journey, if only it was as easy to lose it as it is to put it on!! 2 stone is an amazing start! My Fitness Pal has really helped me, so have the weight loss threads on here.
