Inspired by the tousled bob thread - I just booked in with the hairdresser tomorrow. I've got an overwhelming urge to get my slightly below the shoulder length hair lopped off into a jaw-length bob.
I ALWAYS tie my hair back. Literally, every single day. It's normally in a bun - I hate the feeling of having it down and I don't think it suits me down.
I've been trying to grow it out for more than a year, as I thought the extra weight would help it to hang more nicely, but it won't go any longer than it is now.
But I also hate that it looks so lazy and ungroomed like this. And I'd like something a bit edgy, and something which will force me to wear it down.
I thought a tousled bob would be quite quick to dry and I could do what's been suggested in the other thread to tousle it.
However, my hair is actually curly, which I am in TOTAL denial about - I hate seeing it curly and on the very rare occasion that I ever do wear it down, it's straightened to within an inch of its life. It looks like a frigging bush otherwise. Weirdly, the front and my fringe are completely poker-straight though. If I had a tousled bob, I would actually straighten it first before tousling it, otherwise I would just look like I'd escaped from a horror film set.
I have a very blunt Dawn O'Porter style fringe which will also need to be grown out a bit to make a bob work.
So would a bob actually be a nightmare? I've got such a strong urge to just do it!
